A big congratulations to all our students who performed with the Region Orchestras on November 6. The concerts were beautiful! If you would like to purchase recordings of the concerts, check out the info below

Every year, the orchestra 'adopts' one or two children in need to help provide them with essentials and gifts for the holiday season.

This year, we've adopted a 13 year old girl and 13 year old boy. Help us give them an amazing holiday season by donating items they are in need of or something they are wishing for. Below is information on both children that will help you get the correct size or items they are interested in. All donations can be dropped off in the orchestra room starting now through November 29th.

Donations should be new items. Please no used items.

If you would prefer to donate gift cards or cash, please do so by November 26th. We will purchase items from the wishlists with your combined donations and let you know what you helped get for them!

On November 30th, we will meet right after school in the orchestra room to take a picture of everyone who donated with the amazing gifts we will be giving!

All beginner orchestra students will get together to rehearse for our winter concert. Both rehearsals will occur directly after school in the orchestra room from 3:50 to 4:30.

Virtual students should join via google meet.

January 7 - Titan Training: Field Trip for all 8th graders in Orchestra to find out more about the CHS orchestras and perform alongside the high school students

January 18 - Orchestra Group Picture Day

Students should dress in their concert black uniform like at the Winter Concert for group pictures this day. They can bring a change of clothes if they would prefer not to be in concert attire all day. A schedule will come out to let them know what period their pictures will take place.

• If you have any questions about what your student should be working on to improve, please ask them to show you their skill mastery Canvas course. They can share with you the videos or written feedback from Mrs. LaLonde or Mr. Sluder about the skills they should be working on to improve.
