BACKPACKS BACKPACKS BACKPACKS!

Is your student's backpack worn out? Could they use an additional one to keep "at home" materials organized in? We have the backpack for you! Clinton Valley was generously gifted with many backpacks and are trying to find loving homes to adopt them. Some even come with a few school supplies in them. If you are willing to provide a home for a needy backpack, please contact your child's teacher directly with your request or the school social worker, Monica Weaver at mweaver@cvs.k12.mi.us or (586) 723-5240.

Did you know: Ten minutes of reading a day increase a child's exposure to oral language. Print exposure allows cognitive and academic development to increase. It also increases an understanding of vocabulary and comprehension.
