Windermere Weekly Update

Please make arrangements for your child's early dismissal on Thursday. If your child will be going home a different way, please let your child's teachers know!

This Tuesday, December 19th, 3rd Grade will be holding a Market Day! Our students have been working hard to make various items to sell to their peers (think fidgets, squishies, jewelry, pet rocks, etc.). All items will be whole dollar amounts between $1-$3, and all proceeds will go to the Dell Children’s Medical Center. Please help support our students by sending your child with money to shop at Market Day on Tuesday.

Our PK-4 students from Ms. Shannon and Ms. Garza's class paraded for their hallway which includes PK-3, Kindergarten, 1st grade, ECSE and Essential Academics. Way to go!

December

19th - 3rd Grade Market Day

21st - Last day of school for the semester & EARLY RELEASE - 12:00 (wear your favorite holiday gear)

22nd of December through the 8th of January - Winter Break

January

8th - Student Holiday & Teacher work day

9th - First day back for students

15th - MLK Day - No school for students or teachers

Thank you to those of you who have donated. We still need items for the lounge! We'll take them all year. You can drop items by the front office and we will take it from there! A few of you have sent items via Amazon and that works perfectly. Our address is 429 Grand Ave. Pkwy, Pflugerville 78660.

Mostly, anything that's shelf-stable will work, but here are some ideas for what to purchase:

Sodas, LaCroix-type drinks, Tea Packets, K-Cups (coffee)

Granola Bars, Trail Mix, Popcorn, Chips, Crackers

Chocolate, Cookies, Candy, Snack Cakes

Beef Jerky, Cup-O-Noodle Soup

Any other kinds of snacks you can think of, chances are someone will LOVE it!

Families must reapply each school year. It is very important to complete this application even if you don't think your child will qualify.
