WebEx Staff Accounts
You will be receiving an email in your PUSD account that will walk you through the steps for activating your WebEx account. Once you have completed the activation process you will be able to visit pusd.webex.com to login to your account. We are still working on the Canvas integration, so that won't be available to you yet.
WebEx will allow for us to streamline our systems for synchronous instruction, meetings/conferencing, messaging, and calling. You will be able to access this service through a web browser, by using an app on a phone or tablet, or through Canvas. Some of the features of WebEx features include:
- Breakout Rooms
- Virtual Whiteboarding
- Easy Recording Access
- Office Hours Scheduling
- Secure Access for Staff and Students
- Canvas Integration (for lessons and recordings)
- District Extension Calling
- Internal Messaging

Powerschool Learning (PSL) Content
Powerschool has had issues with their export tool that allows for us to pull courses from PSL and bring them into Canvas. Due to these issues, PSL has extended our access until these issues are resolved, and all of our PUSD content can be exported and imported into our new learning management system, Canvas.
We know that this delay has concerned some of you, but please know we are working hard to get everyone's content moved over as quickly as possible. We will continue to provide updates on our progress.
Aeries Updates: Resetting Passwords
In our commitment to take the appropriate measures to protect all student information and privacy, we are making changes to the requirements for all passwords within Aeries student, parent, and staff portal accounts. Beginning the week of June 29, 2020, parent and student portal account users will receive an email from DoNotReply@pusd.us that will provide you with a link and instructions on how to update your Aeries portal password. Listed below are the minimum requirements for your new password:
A minimum of twelve characters
Change password every twelve months

Application Updates
We are continuing to work with PSL to get all courses exported so that we can have them imported into our new Canvas accounts. We will continue to keep you updated on their progress. If you would like to export your own course and upload it in the Canvas, then you can CLICK HERE to learn how.
Google Classroom
Teachers will continue to have access to Google Classroom, through June 30, 2021, in order to transfer their content over to Canvas. Students no longer have access to Google Classroom.
