September 2023 Deadlines
Cameron Impact Scholarship
Deadline: September 8, 2023
Eligibility: Graduate in 2024. Enroll full-time at an accredited, 4-year U.S. college. Minimum 3.7 GPA.
WebsiteThe Gates Scholarship
Eligibility: Graduate in 2024. Enroll full-time in a 4-year degree program at a U.S. accredited, non-for-profit, private or public college or university. Minimum 3.3 GPA. ***Students of at least one of the following ethnicities: African-American, American Indian/Alaska Native, Asian & Pacific Islander American, and/or Hispanic American. Complete the FAFSA (Pell-eligible).

QuestBridge College Match Scholarship
Eligibility: Graduate in 2024. Top 5-10% of graduating class OR ACT composite score 27. Family household income below $65,000.
October 2022 Deadlines
Eligibility: Graduating in 2024. Enroll at an accredited U.S. post-secondary institution. Minimum 3.0 GPA.
November 2023 Deadlines
25th Hispanic Heritage Foundation Awards Scholarship
Eligibility: Graduate in 2024. Enroll at an accredited higher education institute. Minimum 3.0 GPA. ***Be of Hispanic Heritage (including Spain, Brazil, and Philippines).
Jack Kent Cooke Foundation Scholarship
Eligibility: Graduate in 2024. Enroll full-time at an accredited 4-year college. Minimum 3.5 GPA. Family income below $95,000.
National Honor Society Scholarship
Eligibility: Graduate 2024. Enroll in degree program at an accredited U.S. college. Active NHS member in good standing, meets all membership requirements and obligations.
Eligibility: High school senior. Enroll in an accredited, 4-year U.S. college (no vocational or technical training). ***Student must be Black or African American. Demonstrate financial need.
December 2023 Deadlines
Dell Scholars Program
Eligibility: Pursue a bachelor's degree at a full-time at an accredited post-secondary institution. Minimum 2.4 GPA. Participate in a college readiness program in grades 11 AND 12 (AVID, GEAR UP, Upward Bound, etc.). Talent Search is not included as a college readiness program for this specific scholarship. Complete the FAFSA (Pell-eligible).
Burger King Foundation Scholarship
Eligibility: High school senior. Enroll full-time at an accredited, 2- or 4-year college or vocational-technical school in the U.S., Puerto Rico, or Guam. Minimum 2.0 GPA.
Rudd Scholarship
Eligibility: High school senior. ***Enroll full-time at Emporia State University, Fort Hays State University, or Wichita State University. Minimum 3.0 GPA. KS Resident, qualify for in-state tuition. Complete the FAFSA (Pell-eligible).

January 2024 Deadlines
APIA Scholarships
Eligibility: Enroll at an accredited U.S. college. Minimum 2.7 GPA. ***Ethnicity, heritage, or ancestry of countries, territories, or lands in Asia or the Pacific Islands. Complete the FAFSA.
Foot Locker Scholar Athletes Program
Eligibility: High school senior. Pursue a degree at a 2- or 4-year college. Minimum 3.0 GPA. ***Be involved in high school sports, intramural sports, or community based sports.
GE-Reagan Foundation Scholarship
Eligibility: Graduate in 2024. Enroll full-time in an undergraduate course of study at an accredited 4-year college in the U.S. Minimum 3.0 GPA.
KHEDF Kansas Hispanic Scholarship Program
Eligibility: High school senior from the Wichita Metro area. Enroll full-time in a post-secondary institution after graduation. Minimum 2.5-3.0 GPA, depending on scholarship. ***At least 50% Hispanic heritage. Demonstrate financial need.

February 2024 Deadlines
DeWalt Trades Scholarship
Eligibility: High school senior. Enroll in a full-time undergraduate study at an accredited 2-year or vocational-technical school. Minimum 2.0 GPA. ***Pursuing trade degree/certificate: construction, industrial, motor/power sector, mechanics, or technology. Does NOT include: culinary arts, cosmetology, or hospitality.
McDonald's HACER Scholarship
Eligibility: High school senior. Enroll at an accredited 2- or 4- year college full-time. Minimum 2.8 GPA. DREAMer/DACA recipients eligible. ***At least one parent of Hispanic heritage.
Schmidt Foundation Scholarship
Eligibility: ***Enroll full-time on-campus at Fort Hays State University. Minimum 3.25 GPA. KS resident. Must live on campus. Preference given to first-generation college students and those pursuing a degree in healthcare, education, business/entrepreneurship, the arts, or communications.

TRIO Talent Search - Emily Roets-Estevez
TRIO Talent Search at Wichita State University is a federally funded program designed to prepare and motivate middle school and high school students for postsecondary education. It has been serving students in Wichita since 1977.
All services are free and include:
- Tutoring
- Computer lab with internet access
- After School Tutoring Program
- College and career information
- Scholarship and FAFSA assistance
- FREE Campus visits to two-year and four-year colleges
- Workshops such as: Getting Ready for the ACT, and Understanding Financial Aid/Financial Literacy.
