NAEP: Select 8th Graders
Your 8th grade student may be asked to take the NAEP test in the subject of Science on Thursday, February 29, 2024. Please ensure your 8th grade student is present on this day. This test measures current knowledge in Science and reports these findings to the National Center for Education Statistics within the U.S. Department of Education. This test measures common achievement across the country. Your student will be notified by their science teacher if they are selected to sit for this test and will report to the testing location on the day of the test with a pass.
Thank you for your participation.
