Mr. Dave

Mr. Dave is our fabulous morning drop off guy and he volunteers to help us every day. We want to do something special for him and are asking that you email us a word, sentence, or even a paragraph about how wonderful Mr. Dave is. We are going to do something special with it for him. SHHHHHH, its a secret, don't tell him! Please email lnieboer@parchmentschools.org with all your positive thoughts about Mr. Dave.

Food Drive

Our student council collected a huge amount of food for Loaves and Fishes. Thank you to everyone who donated and helped those in our community.

Shop With A Cop

We have students every year who get to shop with a cop and they always come back with huge smiles and lots of stories. I'm not sure if the students or cop have more fun, but its always a good time.

We want to remind everyone that school starts promptly at 8:30, you can drop off students as early as 8:20. Arriving on time for school helps ensure that your child doesn't miss out on the important learning activities that happen early in the day.

Zipper Club

Zipper Club? What's that? How do I join?


It's for Central's kindergarten and 1st grade students. All they have to do to be able to join is to zip up their coat all on their own. We are trying to get every kindergartener and 1st grader to be a part of the zipper club so be sure to help your child practice zipping up their coat all on their own at home too.


When they are able to zip up their own coat they will get to write their name on the coat poster on the wall, their name will be on announcements and they will come home with a special sticker on their jacket. We already have several members in the club and they are all excitedly trying to join.

Snow And Cold Weather Is Here!

Winter has come whether we like it or not. Make sure your student comes to school with all the necessary cold weather gear every day. If your student is in need of some gear, please let us know because we do have some to give away.

Tools to use to get back to the green zone

We have all been upset, worried, angry, anxious, nervous, bored and sick, and all of those feelings are ok. It is good to identify those feelings and then we can use tools to help us return to the green zone.

Hungry Howies

Thank you to everyone who bought pizza from Hungry Howies last Monday. Ms. Houser's class was the class with the most orders and they will celebrate with a pizza party. We earned $371.26, WOW!

Our next fundraiser day is Monday, January 16th.

Miss. Trimble

This is Miss Trimble's second year teaching at Parchment as the STEM teacher! She enjoys getting to build, invent, and create science experiments for the kids to get excited about. On school breaks she loves going to concerts, traveling, and spending time with her family and dogs!

Mrs. Bagley

Mrs. Bagley has taught for a total of ten years. She taught in Taiwan for a year, then 4th and 5th grade at Parchment Central until she had the girls. Mrs. Bagley LOVED staying home with the 3 Bagley girls while they were little. 4 years ago she came back to Parchment and currently teaches Life Skills. One of Mrs. Bagleys favorite things is the big dinner table that Mr. Bagley made so that they can gather many friends and family.

Mrs. Campbell

Mrs. Campbell is in her 15th year of teaching art in Parchment! She teaches at all three elementary schools, so she knows most of the students in the district. In addition, she has been coaching the varsity cheer team with Mrs. Carbary for nine years. When she is not at school, she is usually training for a marathon or a triathlon. She also hosts exchange students every year and enjoys learning about other countries and cultures!

Mr. Bagley

Well, apparently Mr. Bagley doesn't like to follow directions, so this is the picture you get of him. :) Mr. Bagley is the physical education teacher and has been in that role for almost 100 years. He likes working with tools outside of school and his newest most favorite tool is a wood splitting maul used to help feed the woodstove in their home.

Mr. Portman

Mr. Portman is the Music Teacher and this is his second year teaching students how to sing and play instruments. Outside of school he enjoys playing his bass guitar and teaching his kitten, Kingsley, new tricks.

Ms Boze

Ms. Boze is the careers and current events teacher. She has been in this role since the beginning of the 2022-2023 school year (first year teacher here!) She likes to spend time with her family and loved ones. Ms. Boze is always busy with her 4 year old all black German shepherd Rose who still thinks she is a puppy.
