MN JCI (Junior Chamber International) Senate Deadline: Jan 19th (website says Jan 13, but it was extended)

(3) scholarships for $600 to any senior attending school next fall. (1 is for vocational/technical, 2 for any other school)

MN Telecom Alliance Foundation Scholarship Deadline: Feb 16

(5) $2000 scholarships. Must be a member of a member service company (Paul Bunyan is one!) Must submit to the local Paul Bunyan office for signature by Feb 16

Northland Counseling Center Deadline: Mar 1

(2) scholarships in the amount of $500; one to a student interested in Nursing and one for a student interested in Social Work/Psychology/Chemical Dependency.
Northland Counseling Application**If you have already filled out the Thunderhawk Scholarship application, you can just fill out the Name and last page and the rest will be submitted from your Thunderhawk Application.

MDI Success at Work Scholarships (through the GRACF application) Deadline: Mar 1

(20) $2000 scholarships available to students that have an IEP/504 plan OR are entering into the field of Social Service, Mental Health, Special Education, Physical Therapy or Speech Therapy.

Park State Scholarship Information Deadline March 4

(2) $2,500 scholarships; Seniors with GPA above 3.0. (2) Letters of recommendation are required; DO NOT need to be a Park State Bank customer; employee family members are not eligible Application available here

(2) $500 scholarships for seniors who have participated in a youth soccer program

Hibbing Community College Foundation Scholarships Deadline April 1

For students attending Hibbing CC in fall 2024

Applied Learning Institute (ALI) Scholarships Deadline: Apr 15

Multiple $2,000 scholarships are available to students planning on attending one of the MN North College Campuses: Hibbing, Itasca, Mesabi Range Eveleth or Virginia in one of the five ALI supported programs - Healthcare, Engineering, Construction, Industrial Technology, and Automotive Technology. Emberg Scholarships Deadline: Apr 25

Amounts vary; Program is for seniors in NE Minnesota and NW Wisconsin only! Must have at least a 2.5 GPA.

Seniors interested in taking the ACT with the Junior class on Tues March 12 in the GRHS Gym should talk with their counselor about signing up.

LAST CHANCE! Alworth Memorial Scholarship Deadline is Jan 15th

The Alworth Scholarship is for seniors in NE MN counties who are going into STEM majors after high school. Qualify for up to $24,000 distributed over eight semesters ($3,00 per semester)

Lake Co Power- Deadline: Jan 31

Lake Country Power Les Beach Memorial HS Scholarship: Deadline Jan 31
Seniors can apply for $4,000 scholarships ($1,000 each year for 4 years) from Lake Co Power. Parent/Guardian must be a member of Lake Country Power; GPA 2.5 or higher; Essay and 2 letters of recommendation are required.

Blandin Foundation - Deadline: March 1

Blandin Foundation Scholarships - Receive a grant up to $5000 per year based on family adjusted gross income less than $125,000. Must apply every year in school and can apply until age 25 if pursuing a degree. Jan 2- Mar 1

Grand Rapids Area Community Foundation (GRACF.org) Scholarship Application open until March 1.

THUNDERHAWK SCHOLARSHIPS - Feb 20

THUNDERHAWK SCHOLARSHIPS: 40+ local scholarships are managed through GRHS for GRHS and ALC students. Scholarships include: Paul Bunyan Communications, Eagles, American Legion, Chamber of Commerce, Rotary and many, many others.
