Sagebrush Elementary
Family Update 10/27/2023
Message From the Principal
During the week of October 30 - November 3, we will be holding Parent/Teacher Conferences for grades Kindergarten - 5th. Parent/Teacher Conferences are an important opportunity where we can sit down and discuss your child’s progress in school. You will be able to ask any questions of your child’s teacher and support personnel your child may work with during the school day. Conferences provide us the opportunity to build a partnership between home and school that research shows makes a difference in the academic lives of children.
Below, you will find a list of our teachers and a link to their online sign-up page. Please sign up for a 20 minute conference. If you require an interpreter for your conference, it has likely already been scheduled. If you would like any other support teachers (intervention, Special Education, or Gifted and Talented) invited, please indicate so in the comments section and we will do our best to be sure they are represented.

Support our Feeder School - Smoky Hill High School
Hello Smoky Hill Families, Feeder School Families, Alumni, and Community Members -
We hope this message finds you well. In Cherry Creek School District, we are committed to five core values – Equity, Growth Mindset, Whole Well Being, Relationships, and Engagement –which shape our educational approach and enriches the lives of our students and community.
At Smoky Hill High School, we stand firm in embodying these values as we guide our students toward success. Our dedication to nurturing growth, fostering meaningful connections, and delivering an exceptional educational journey is a testament to our alignment with Cherry Creek's core values.
Our students' well-being and engagement are at the heart of everything we do. To truly embody our values, we're embarking on an exciting endeavor – the revitalization of our worn and outdated weight room. Our current equipment paints a picture that does not reflect the pride we have in our school or the success.
Why the Weight Room Matters: We believe that a well-equipped and modern weight room is vital for the holistic development of our students. It's not just about fitness; it's about instilling values like discipline, teamwork, and perseverance. We want every student to have access to a facility that empowers them to be their best selves.
How You Can Make a Difference: We invite you to be a part of this transformative journey. Your support, no matter the size, will contribute directly to enhancing the weight room experience for all students at Smoky Hill. Here's how you can help:
1. Donate: Every dollar counts and takes us closer to our goal. To kickstart this project, we aim to raise $75,000. This initial amount will allow us to invest in new squat racks, bumper plates, and barbells – a tremendous leap toward revitalizing our weight room.
2. Spread the Word: Even if you're unable to contribute financially, your voice matters. Share this email with your friends, family, and anyone who believes in the power of education and community. Together, we can reach even greater heights.
3. Reach Out: If you have any questions, ideas, or would like to get involved in our fundraising efforts, please don't hesitate to contact Reid Heller at Rheller@cherrycreekschool.org. Your input is invaluable as we work towards our common goal.
