Please help us reach our next fundraising goal by supporting our Read-A-Thon! We have teamed up with Get Movin’© to make this event fun and profitable with online mobile friendly technology!

The goal of this fundraiser is to raise funds to update the school library's book collection. What better way to do that than with a Read-A-Thon!


Follow these 3 Simple Steps to help us get to our goal fast!

1. First Register or re-Login to your parent dashboard and complete your child’s student webpage with a PICTURE at getmovinfundhub.com. School Identifier: 65d5f2025c41b

2. Make an online donation using the red Donate button right away.

3. Share with friends and family, they want to help!

· Send 10-15 emails and/or text messages
· Post to Facebook, Instagram, or X
· Help your child reach their goal in 24-48 hours


Student Goals!

· Our goal is to have 100% of all students registered online! It’s easy, FREE, and takes a few quick minutes!

· Each student is encouraged to raise $50.00

· Be an Overachiever Superstar by raising $200.00


OUR TOTAL SCHOOL GOAL is $18,000!


o Donations in the form of cash & checks (in-school donations), should be turned in to the school. Please make checks payable to: Pennington School PTO.

Students will complete a Read-a-Thon reading log on the tracker you will give them with the following goals by grade level:

  • Grades 1-2: 20 pages nightly
  • Grades 3-5: 30 pages nightly
  • Grades 6-8: 40 pages nightly


Incentive prizes will be earned based on reading milestones! Students should put the date in the box for the appropriate day and check the checkbox if they meet their reading goal for that day.


The current incentives are:

  • Students will receive a scratch and sniff bookmark just for registering!
  • Students will earn a wristband for reading and recording their grade-level page goal at least three days in a row!
  • The first classroom with 100% registration will get a book read by a special guest reader!
  • Once Pennington families have logged 60,000 pages or more online, all students and staff will get a Popcorn Day!
  • Students will earn a Friday Store coupon for every $25 raised (max 8 coupons, can be combined)!
  • Students who raise $200 or more will earn a $25 credit at the spring Book Fair!

The PTO Holiday Gift Shop is on

Monday, December 9th and

Tuesday, December 10th!


Elementary classes will have a dedicated shopping time on Monday or Tuesday. Middle Schoolers can shop during their lunch period. There are lots of gifts they can choose from for family, friends, or themselves! All items are reasonably priced.


Don't forget the family shopping event on Monday evening, 6-7:30pm. There will be hot chocolate, cookies, and a door prize raffle!
