OLVCS Updates
October 19th, 2023
Dear OLVCS Parents and Friends,
The weather is beginning to change, days are shorter, fall is in full swing and the sound of Christmas carols echo through the gym. That can mean only one thing; the end of the first marking period is closing in!
Parent/Teacher conferences are next week (see info below) The end of the marking period is October 31st. Report cards will come home the week of November 6th. Whew! It is hard to believe how fast the year has started.
Please read through the entire Updates for important school information. As I mentioned at the beginning of the year we will work hard to only have one communication sent each week. This week was the exception, however, we will try to stick to once a week.
Also, a thank you to our wonderful business sponsors for the Walk-A-Thon! These businesses will be featured in the Updates, please see and click below.
As a reminder, there is no school tomorrow, it is the Diocesan Inservice.
Make your long weekend a great one!
Samantha

On Monday, October 16 at 4PM, the Crusaders took on the Park Forest Soccer Team at Orchard Park. In the 1st half, Park Forest scored a goal on OLV to take the lead. In the 2nd period, Park Forest scored another goal on us to make the score 2-0, Park Forest. The 8th graders include Evan Koehle, Owen Badger, Declan Robertson, Tommy Ruffing, Maya Edmonson, Claire Peters, Collin Jacob, Jacob Andreyo, Val Kauffman, Dylan Miller, Connor Miller.
