Belong. Inspire. Grow.
Straight from the Hardt
Hello Ridgeline Families- this week we had the pleasure of celebrating and honoring our teachers! When you work in a school setting, it doesn’t matter what your job title is, every adult here is responsible for the well-being and growth of our students. By default, that makes every adult here a “teacher”. Appreciation and Kindness was a strong theme throughout the week. A gesture our staff will never forget came from our students. Every staff member received personalized notes from multiple students.
Students offered words of thanks and appreciation. When I read my own, I was not only impressed by the time and effort they put forth, but also how in tune and perceptive our students are about my role as principal. It was a great reminder of what we do-- matters! Thank you to our awesome students!
Staff also got some great love from our Sunshine Club. Food and treats every day! Thank you also to our Boosters for the gifts for staff!
When you become a teacher it is much more than a career. When you get to know a student’s individual story, their life becomes part of yours. You remain forever connected by that single thread…
I want to personally thank all of our “TEACHERS” at Ridgeline High School for bringing our Vision for our culture to life. You’ve made a difference for all of our students—what you do matters!
The next few weeks will go very rapidly. Stay on top of events and activities by skimming through the newsletter every week!
Make it a great weekend! --Mr. Hardt

Introduction to Business and Marketing students proudly showing their new water bottle designs. WIAA State Championships
These amazing artists had the experience to represent Ridgeline High School and the Spokane region at the WIAA State Championships in Ellensburg, WA last weekend. Each student prepared her and his own musical selection to be adjudicated by three qualified professionals in the respective instrumental category. While we did not have any students place this year, it was an exciting reward to be in the company of so many of the state’s finest artists.
Congrats to Jace Crane, Daden Lewis, Hannah Lind, Cannon Parsons, Parker Troye, and Carolyn Rose for representing the best of Ridgeline High School and the honor of competing at state.
We are endlessly inspired by the impact you make on our music community and the school at large. Ubuntu!

Youth Leadership Spokane is now accepting applications!
Youth Leadership Spokane is now accepting applications for high school students grades 10 – 12 for the 2023 class. This is a great opportunity for students to learn about their community, network with industries and organizations, have some great volunteer opportunities, and meet students from all over the Spokane region. The commitment is only one evening a month, and it is a great resume-builder. We want some Ridgeline students representing!

From the Attendance Desk
Reminder- School starts at 7:45am Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday. School starts at 8:15am on Thursday. We are starting to see more and more students arriving to school at or after the posted start time. This is causing students to be late to 1st period. It's really important that whether a student drives to school or is dropped off, they arrive with enough time to be in class and ready to go at 7:45 (M,T,W,F) or 8:15 (Th) depending on the day. Please talk with your students about the importance of being to school and classes on time.
If your student is absent from school please call our attendance line at 509-558-3801 to excuse their absence.
Go Falcons!
