Storytime With the Principals was so much fun (see the video of the week below). After reading We are Human by Susan Verde and Be Kind by Pat Zieltlow Miller, students from all grade levels created kindness notes that will be hidden in books at the Arlington Heights Memorial Library to hopefully brighten someone's day. Thank you so much to our parent volunteers that helped make this special activity possible, especially Deborah Oiler who coordinated all of the volunteers!

MAP Score Reports

Measures of Academic Progress (MAP) winter assessment results for students in grades 3-8 will be sent home to families via backpack mail on Friday, 1/18/19.

New Year Math Challenge

Looking for a way to keep your child's math skills sharp and have fun at the same time? Consider the New Year Math Challenge - a math challenge game board for students to complete during winter break. There are game boards for each grade level. A number of our teachers attended a workshop by the creator of this challenge, Greg Tang, and have incorporated many of his strategies into their instruction. Click HERE for more information about the challenge. This is not a school-sponsored program, so parents can choose to have their child participate and/or enter them in the contest.
