Principal's Message
Greetings KP Community,
It is hard to believe that we are already half way through the school year and are preparing for Authentic Learning Experiences (ALEs) this week. As we move into Term 3, Semester 2 it is critical that we remember that no path is the same for every student and the progress made may not be immediately felt or seen, but that doesn't mean it wasn't an essential step along the student's journey. The halfway point in the school year is always a good time to reflect on the successes felt and the areas of focus moving forward. There is still plenty of time for students to join a club or activity if they are not already involved and it is important to reflect on learning experiences to determine goals for the future. I look forward to a great second half of the year!
As we remember the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr, I am sharing the following quote:
"The function of education is to teach one to think intensively and to think critically. Intelligence plus character - that is the goal of true education."
We continue our focus on community building at KP so that every single student feels seen, valued, heard and included in our school.
