Secaucus High School
Update
January 26, 2024
Dear SHS Community,
As we transition into the second half of the school year, students are encouraged to reflect on the prior months to identify areas for improvement and set realistic goals for academic achievements. Maintaining success requires a combination of effort, organization, and a positive mindset. Parents and students are encouraged to reach out to our guidance department with any questions or concerns.
Marking Period 2 Ends on January 29th
Marking period 2 Report Card grades will be available to view on the Realtime Parent Portal beginning February 6th. Please log in to the below link to see your child's grades.

Student Snippets
The members of the Literary Clubs are excited to publish their first issue of the literary magazine for the 2023-2024 school year. The club members worked hard to put together a compilation of writing and artwork that showcases the talent of our unique student population. We hope you enjoy reading the magazine Student Snippets.

STEM Showcase
The 2024 Hudson County STEM Showcase is sponsored by Liberty Science Center, Jersey City Medical Center, and Robert Wood Johnson-Barnabas Health, and will be held in-person at Liberty Science Center on March 11, 2024. This event is open to students enrolled in Secaucus Public Schools in grades 5 through 12. Students may work individually or on a team of up to 3 students.
The STEM Showcase is affiliated with the Regeneron International Science and Engineering Fair, a live event that will be held in Los Angeles, California in May of 2024. STEM Showcase high school gold medalists will compete in a live "super-judging" round, from which four (4) students will be selected to represent the 2023-2024 Hudson County STEM Showcase at the Regeneron fair.
Secaucus Public School students have been participating in the Hudson County STEM Showcase for decades! Annually, we have students win medals in their categories as well as special awards- with some awards having monetary value!
