OLVCS Updates
September 28th, 2023
Dear OLVCS Parents and Friends,
Today at mass we enjoyed the 7th Grade and 8W sing 10,000 Reasons in Spanish! They did a wonderful job. It is such a blessing that we attend mass as a school.
We are in the final push for Walk-A-Thon. We will accept money at any time, but to be counted for individual and class prizes, donations need to be turned in tomorrow.
Tomorrow is also the last day for the Coin Drive; and Dollar Dress Down day. Students are to bring in $1 to dress down. All those proceeds go to the Walk-A-Thon.
OLVCS School Council is looking for an additional member. Please see information below if you feel that serving on the council will be a good fit for you.
Make it a Great Day!

B-game: 19 – 25, 25 – 13, 10 – 15. This Saturday, the OLV team heads to West Branch High School for the Warrior Blast Volleyball Tournament. Good luck!
Crusaders Battle Hard Against The Juniata Indians
By Ryan Suita, OLV 6th Grade Student
At 4:00 on Wednesday, the OLV Crusaders took on the Juniata Middle School soccer team at Orchard Park. To start the game, Juniata quickly got on the board with a goal just a couple of minutes into the first. Close to the end, Juniata scored another goal for some insurance to make the score 2-0, Juniata. In the second half, Juniata kept pressuring OLV and got 3 more goals in. OLV played great defensively but didn’t get the chance to capitalize to get on the board this game. The game ended with a score of 5 to 0, Juniata on top.
The OLV Soccer Team takes on the Bald Eagle (Girls) team TODAY (Thursday) at 4PM at Orchard Park. Here are the players to watch: Evan Koehle, Jacob Andreyo, Aryana McCleary, and Felicity Jacob. All are invited to come out and cheer on our Crusaders!
