WE NEED YOUR HELP!
The Senior Party is looking for volunteers to help with the Friday setup, Sunday tear down, and the night of the party. We have a lot of opportunities to help with being a casino dealer, supervising the different entertainment areas, taking pictures of seniors throughout the night, nurses, check in/out the students or volunteers. Use the following link to access the sign-up genius and click on a tab at the top for the different areas. https://www.signupgenius.com/go/70a094dabad2ba64-event#/
No experience needed - we'll train you! Bring a friend & volunteer together - no reason the kids get to have ALL the fun 🙂
Casino Dealer training takes place either Tuesday May 23rd or Tuesday May 30th at 6PM at Eastview High School. If you sign up to be a Casino Dealer you must attend 1 of these training sessions.
Adults of underclassmen: Please sign up to be in the school on Saturday (3PM-9PM, 2-hour shifts) to keep an eye on the party setup so the adults of our graduating seniors can enjoy all things related to graduation. The customary passing of the baton on the graduation overnight party is the Junior parents tearing down the event Sunday (2AM-8AM, 2-hour shifts). It's a great way to get an idea of what you'll be planning and working on in just one year! Use the same SignUpGenius to volunteer, tabs are labeled with JUNIORS for these essential shifts https://www.signupgenius.com/go/70a094dabad2ba64-juniors#/

Looking for Families to Host German Students
Guten Tag!
Eastview High School participates in a GAPP (German American Partnership Program) exchange. We have a partner school in Darmstadt, Germany (just south of Frankfurt in Western Germany) and every other year we travel to each other’s schools. The group from Germany will be visiting this upcoming Oktober from the 3rd to the 14th 2023 and we will be traveling to Germany right after school gets out in June 2024.
We are currently searching for host families and would like to find host families before the end of the school year. The German students do need their own bed, but can share a room if need be. We are hosting 20 German students and 2 of their teachers.
If you are interested, please fill out this application form and send it back to Herr Sebald at steve.sebald@district196.org. Please be as detailed as possible in your answers and welcome letter so that the teachers in Germany and I can do the best we can when matching you with your partner. Please submit this application by the 31st of May so that we can match you and you can get to know your partner over the summer. Please email Herr Sebald with your questions.
