Beginning June 12th, the Westgate Office will be open by appointment only until June 21st. Please call the office at 847-398-4292 or email Leah Buchek at lbuchek@sd25.org or Lisa Lightcap at llightcap@sd25.org if you need to schedule an appointment. The office will reopen on July 25th.

FUN FAIR is this tonight (6/2)! It looks like the weather will be great again for this annual end-of-year Westgate celebration. 5:30-7:30 PM at the school playground. Bring your whole family as there will be FREE FUN for all - 3 huge inflatable slides and obstacle courses, a cake walk, DJ with fun games for all ages, dunk tank with surprise teacher guests, face painting, balloon artists and more!!

Don’t forget:

• Bring non-perishable food items to have a chance to dunk your favorite teachers in the Dunk Tank, sponsored by Westgate Cares!

• Westgate Book Fair will be open to buy books for summer reading!

• Feel free to bring chairs and have a picnic dinner! Also, Kona Ice and the fabulous Taco Truck from last year will both be available for purchase. Both accept cash and cards.

• Please have your kids bring water bottles as it will be warm! We will also have water for purchase.

• We still need a handful of parents to help make Fun Fair be as FUN as possible! If you are willing, please sign up here:

The Westgate Garden Club Crew has been busy over the past month planting vegetables. In order to continue to maintain the garden over the summer, we are asking for families to sign-up for weeks that they would be willing to help maintain our garden. Responsibilities would include watering, fertilizing, weeding, and picking vegetables. Volunteering families are welcome to home and eat any veggies that are picked! Please sign-up by clicking on this link if your family is interested in helping us out. Feel free to sign-up for more than one week this summer.

Summer will come just a few hours early this year. On Wednesday, June 7, 2023, students will be dismissed early.

• Middle School Students will dismiss at 1:30 pm.
• Early Childhood Students will dismiss at 2:15 pm.
• Elementary School Students will dismiss at 2:30 pm.
• CAP will begin at 2:30 pm.
