Thrive Excelsior hosted the National Communities of Excellence Conference last week at The Elms. COE 2026 was created to improve the lives of people across the US starting at the community level. The program focuses on what it considers the greatest challenges facing our nation - educational attainment, job creation & health status - with a goal for improvement by 2026, the 250th anniversary of the nation's founding. The approach is a grassroots effort to improve the performance of communities & the people who lead & live in them. Every community already has the ability within their midst. COE provides the framework to guide how we identify & address our weaknesses & identify & celebrate our strengths. Please take the Citizen Survey!
