We are delighted to welcome you to the E.B. Comstock family! As the principal, teachers, and staff, we are thrilled to begin this exciting journey of education and growth with you and your children. This newsletter aims to provide you with essential information, updates, and events happening at our school, so you can stay connected and engaged in your child's education.

We firmly believe that parental involvement is crucial to a child's educational journey. We encourage open communication and collaboration between parents and teachers. Throughout the year, we will organize parent-teacher conferences, workshops, and events to keep you informed about your child's progress and offer guidance on how you can support their learning at home.

Parents are invited to come and complete registration August 9-11 from 10a.m. to 2p.m. You may also register during our Back To School Bash on August 10th from 5:00p.m. to 6:00p.m.

To ensure the images and videos of our students are not being captured on cell phones, personal

laptops, tablets, and/or smart watches during instructional time, in personal spaces, and to ensure

cyberbullying is not occurring, these devices will not be permitted to be in the possession of

students during school hours.

**Any special circumstances for students to possess their personal cell phone, laptop, tablet,

and/or smart watch must obtain written approval from the principal**

Students first and last class each day is Advisory. When students arrive for advisory in the

morning, they will turn in all devices to their advisory teacher who will place all devices in a safe

and secure location. Once students return to their advisory class at the end of the day, their

devices will be returned to them.

Students who arrive late will turn in their devices to the front office.

In case of emergencies parents/guardians can contact the main office at 972-794-1300 at which

time we will notify the student to come to the main office to contact their parent.

August 9-11- Registration from 10a.m. to 2p.m.

August 10- Back To School Bash 5:00p.m.-6:00p.m.
