* The School Committee will hold a special meeting next Wednesday afternoon to discuss the FY23 budget and tuition agreements between Florida & Hoosac, for middle school students. The agenda is attached below.


* Penny-A-Thon 2022! The PTG will host the Penny-A-Thon fundraiser the week of March 28th - April 1st. A description of how the Penny-A-Thon works is attached below. We greatly appreciate everyone's support of this fundraiser, as it has been over two years since we've been able to fundraise. Thank you!


* Aftercare Families: In an effort to keep payments safe and timely, Miss Anderson has sent home an "Aftercare & Preschool" payment envelope to each family. We kindly ask that you use these envelopes and send them in your student's backpack, when making payments. Miss Anderson will return the envelopes to you every week, along with your new invoices. Please note that staff will no longer be accepting payments in the carline or during Aftercare, without an envelope. You are also welcome to come into the office during school hours and make payments directly to Miss Anderson or myself, if you do not wish to use the envelope. Thank you for your efforts.


* The Savoy School Committee has two opening for the coming year. If you are a Savoy resident and interested, please use the link below for more information.


* Ski Families: Please return your skier's Berkshire East ski tickets back to school as soon as possible. We are charged $5 for each ticket that is not returned. Thank you!


* Do you love seeing photos of your student during the school day, or want to know what is being served for lunch, and receive important updates & reminders? You can download the North Berkshire School Union App on your phone and have access to all of it. Check out a snap of the app's Live Feed below.


Planning Ahead:


* The Math MCAS for grades 3-6 will be scheduled for May 10th, 11th & 12th. Please make every effort to avoid absences on these days. Thank you.


A Note from Nurse Jacquelyn:


* A letter regarding the upcoming health screenings has been sent home to students in grades 1, 4, 5, & 6. These screening will take place next week. Please contact Nurse Jacquelyn via email at jgraves@savoyelementary.com or phone 413-743-1992, if you have any questions or concerns regarding your student's participation.
