As we're gearing up for November and scheduling parent-teacher conferences (November 2nd-9th), I want to stress the importance of the home-school partnership. Our children often have their home self and their school self, and sometimes these versions of themselves do not align. We see things that at school that you may not see at home, and you know things about your child that they may not reveal at school. No matter what kind of meeting you are anticipating, know that we are all on the same team and looking out for the best interests of the student. Communicating and collaborating to ensure that our students are their best and most authentic selves no matter the setting is the goal of the November parent-teacher conferences. Thank you for making arrangements to make our Parent-Teacher Conference weeks possible. As a reminder, parent conference dates from November 2nd-9th are minimum days for the whole school with dismissal at 1pm. We look forward to meeting with you and working together to support the needs of each student!

Reminder to all families! We are on minimum day schedule November 2nd-9th for parent conferences! Dismissal will be at 1pm for all students. Thank you for making arrangements to pick up your child.

Please make sure to come by and check out our Lost and Found in the cafeteria in the next 2 weeks during parent conferences. After November 9th, we will be cleaning out our Lost & Found and donating items to our nurse's office & community partners.

JROB will be hosting a school-wide Trunk or Treat on Monday, October 30th, 5:00-7:00pm in our staff parking lot! We're looking for volunteers and contributions to make this community event a success! Please complete this form if you're interested in hosting a trunk, donating candy, or volunteering! We hope to see you there!

Please send your students to school in uniform on Halloween. We want to keep our celebrations for after school as to not interrupt or distract from our instruction during the school day (e.g. Halloween Dance, Trunk or Treat, etc).

As a reminder, please do not send candy to school with your child. Thank you for understanding and we hope you have a safe and Happy Halloween.

Due to popular demand and to help inform more families, we will be hosting a zoom Parent Engagement Night about JROB's efforts to Build a Positive School Climate and our schoolwide Olweus Bullying Prevention Program. Please save the date and join us on November 2nd via zoom. Link will be forthcoming!

Please coordinate with teacher through email, telephone or classroom application (DOJO) to drop off all donated and/or requested items to the classroom. There is not enough storage space to leave items in the office.
