eWallet Account Balances
If you set up an eWallet account last fall and had money left over, you may use those funds for the upcoming fair. You can simply add money to what your child didn't spend in October, and all of it can be used at our BOGO fair in April. If you requested a refund for the money your child didn't spend, you will have a $0.00 balance, and will need to add funds to your account.

Kindergarten Round-Up
Hello! We are so excited about the Class of 2035 and our pre-kindergartners!
All incoming 2022 kindergarteners, and their families are invited to attend our Round-Up! It will be a fun evening of free food, games, face painting, and more. You and your student will have a chance to see Finley-Oates Elementary and to get your Kindergarten student registered. You will fill out an application for your kindergarten student, and turn in all your required documents. It will be a wonderful evening, and we can’t wait to see you there! This year, we'll be having a Kindergarten Round-Up on Thursday, May 19, from 5-7 p.m.
All students should bring these required documents with them to the Kindergarten Round-Up:
Student's Social Security Card
Student's Birth Certificate
Immunization Records
Parent/Guardian's Driver's License
Proof of Residency (current utility bill, lease agreement, mortgage statement, etc.)
April 4, 2022
Hello, friends and families of our Finley-Oates students!!! I wanted to reach out and give you some information about the upcoming concert and what the students are learning. We have been working on a Motown unit with different artists, including Jackson 5 and Marvin Gaye. We’ve also been hard at work nailing down the BISD Alma Mater. Our concert date was originally in April, but because of Covid, ice, snow, conferences, and the likes, I needed to move our 2nd and 3rd grade concert to Thursday, May 19, 2022 at 6:30PM. Students are asked to arrive by 6:10PM to warm up and line up. We will be having our concert at the high school again, so students should meet in the cafeteria like we did at Christmas. Students should dress in Sunday dress for this concert.
We are finishing up auditions for a solo that the students have been excited to show you, so that’s a fun treat coming your way. Also, 2nd and 3rd grades will perform TOGETHER at this concert, so no waiting for one group to finish before another begins.
Below are the words for our BISD Alma Mater. Students have been asking for the words to take home and practice, so I’m more than happy to give that to them. Also, there are links to the music we’ve been practicing in class so the students can rehearse at home. I would encourage them to keep working at home to get even better and better.
I’m so excited to show you their concert this Spring! It should last about 20 minutes. We appreciate all your support this year! We couldn’t have done it without our supporters!!!
If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out! Thank you so much!!!

BISD Alma Mater (lyrics)
Hail, Alma Mater,
Hear our song to thee.
So worthy art thou,
Of our loyalty!
Thou are the guardian
Of our youthful days
To thee belong
Our love and praise!
Thou are the guardian
Of our youthful days
To thee belong
Our love and praise!
