Student Technology Support
- Parents/Guardians can now submit support tickets for their students by sending an email to helpdesk@pusd.us
- Extended helpdesk calling hours, 7:00am - 7:00pm Monday - Friday (626)396-3699
- Students and staff can still submit support tickets at gopusd.com/helpdesk
Webex Issues:
If your student is having a difficult time accessing their Webex live lessons, please reach out to the teacher so that your student is not marked absent, and also submit a support ticket with our helpdesk.
New Students:
Once enrolled it can take a student 24-48 hrs to gain access to all of our instructional applications. If, after that time, your student is still not able to access their applications, please submit a support ticket with our helpdesk.
Canvas Course Access:
If your student doesn't have access to the courses they are enrolled in within Canvas, please reach out to your teacher. They should be able to grant access to their course if it's missing on the student's Canvas Dashboard.
WiFi Hotspots:
We are currently waiting to receive more hotspots in order to assign devices to the students that have already submitted a request through our ticket system. Our tech team will get in touch with each family once a device is ready for pick up at our Curbside Tech Support location.

Application Information
Clever Dashboard Application
- TCI: If you are missing TCI, our K-5 Social Studies application from Clever, please be patient. Our Academics team is working to ensure that everyone has access as soon as possible.
- Hapara: We have been able to resolve the issue we were seeing with the Hapara extension and the courses that were loaded in the dashboard. If you are stilling missing students or courses, please submit a support ticket.
Webex Best Practices
- Schedule all Meetings through the Cisco Webex tab in each course.
- Be sure to schedule individual Meetings, not recurring, to ensure that the link is accessible to all students.
- Label your Meetings clearly and consistently so that students can find what they need when reviewing recordings.
- Webex Meeting settings in Canvas cannot be updated in the Webex Portal.
- Be sure to Host your Meeting from within Canvas.
- Avoid using the Meeting link in the Webex Portal, those links won't record and save in Canvas.
Other Webex tricks and tips:
- Using the downloaded application will give you access to the full set of management tools. (not available on Chromebooks)
- Be sure to close any other tabs not needed during your Webex meeting so that it runs smoothly.
- Update your recording settings in the Webex portal.
- Pull detailed Meeting reports in the Webex portal.
