Volume 5 Issue 15
Happy Friday! This week's Tustin Connect News reflects a week full of Maverick Hangout Fun, welcoming Legacy Magnet Academy to our high school campus, and transitioning into the month of December. Good stuff across the board. Please be sure to mark your calendar for our Principal/Counselor Coffee this Wednesday at 8:30 am at our K-8 campus Room P10. This month's topic will be Surviving and Thriving in an Independent Study Environment. We look forward to seeing you in person or via Zoom on Wednesday.
This week's background features pictures from this month's Maverick hangout where students made storm jars, enjoyed hot chocolate, and most importantly enjoyed connecting with their peers. Additionally, we had to include a priceless photo from one of our 8th grade mentors visiting with a couple of our K/1 students.
As always, if you have any questions, concerns, or compliments, please reach out to Mr. Fineberg, our principal, at efineberg@tustin.k12.ca.us.

Principal's Message...
We hope you had a great week. It was so exciting to welcome our Legacy Magnet Academy students to our campus this week. They are wonderful neighbors and its been fun to have them on campus. The current plan is for them to stay with us at the high school campus with a return to their campus January 8th when we return from Winter Break. There are multiple moving parts, but this is the plan. A big thank you to our high school teachers, students, and staff, for their flexibility in welcoming the LMA staff and students. It just validates what an incredible community we have.
It is my sincere hope that you are able to join us for our December Coffee With the Principal/Counselor this Wednesday, December 6th at the K-8 campus in Mrs. McCourtney's room. . This month we will be focusing on on the skills necessary to Thrive in an Independent Study Environment and what parents can do to set their students up for success and how to respond when things may not go as planned. You have two options to attend. In person at the K-8 campus in room P10 is always the best as you get coffee, a pastry, and the opportunity to interact in person. The second option is via Zoom. You can use this link to attend.
As always, if you have any questions, compliments, ideas, and/or concerns, please don't hesitate to reach out at (714) 430-2052 ext. 52103 or efineberg@tustin.k12.ca.us. Have a great weekend.
Have a fantastic weekend.
Mr. Fineberg
