SPONSOR AN AFTER SCHOOL ACTIVITY
We need you!
We are hoping to find a handful of parents who would like to earn school service hours by sponsoring an after school activity next fall. After School Activities (ASA) will start approximately the mid-late September and run through the first week of December (12 weeks) and are typically one day a week for an hour of instructional time. Parents who lead an activity will be able to fulfill their annual school service required.
If you have a special skill, talent, or hobby that you would be willing to share with students please contact the front office.
Possible activities:
- Quilting/Sewing
- Digital Photography
- Dance
- Ukulele
- Beading
- Chess club
- Drama
- Cross Country Running
- Basketball
CONGRATULATIONS to Mrs. Beverly Noyles for being the first parent to solve last week's "Riddle of the Week"! Please be on the look out for more opportunities in The Eagle Express parent newsletter.
Hit the Trails at Trailside Elementary
There will be a contest to see which ASD elementary school has the most participation (besides Trailside) and that school will receive $250 from our PTA to purchase needed P.E. equipment. They will fill out a form we create with their order, a P.E. teacher and principal signature and we'll order and purchase for them and have it delivered. A small poster and explanation letter about this will also be sent to every ASD elementary school P.E. teacher soon.
Let's support them as we would like to eventually do the same here at Eagle Academy Charter School soon!
