From Mrs. Smyder
Way to go Buccaneers! You helped the district Intermediate Schools beat the Junior High Schools collecting food items for the Wylie Christian Care Center! Mr. Turner, Principal at Burnett Junior High School, will be spending the night on on our porch. Thank you Bucs!
We hope that you and your family have a safe and wonderful Thanksgiving Break! See you on Monday, November 27!
Military Holiday Cards
When we come back from Thanksgiving Break, we will be collecting holiday cards for a Holiday dinner held for a base in our area. These will be for National Guard Armory 3/144 HC Infantry. We love being able to bless them with these cards each year! Students can turn cards in to the front office or Counselor Corner through Thursday.

Harrison Traffic Pattern
Buc Families,
Please help us keep our students and staff safe during drop of and pick up at Harrison by following the traffic procedures below.
Parents, please only drop off or pick up your students in the designated zone on campus. While it may be more convenient to drop off or pick up at the other locations, we want to keep our students safe during arrival and dismissal. The map below shows the designated drop-off zone for our campus. We have experienced issues with morning drop-off, such as parents dropping off their students on Ballard, in the bus loop, on the north side of the school, and at the Wylie ISD administration building. Dropping off students in these unauthorized locations creates a significant safety hazard and backs up traffic in the area.
The district continues to explore how to improve the traffic at our campus and will consult with the city on possible options. However, in the meantime, please help us keep our kids safe by following our school’s current traffic pattern.
We appreciate your cooperation and understanding. Thank you for your ongoing support of our school. If you have any questions, please let me know.
