Dear Skokie Families:

We are looking forward to seeing everyone for the Meet and Greet tomorrow and for the first day of school on Wednesday!

Important Beginning of School Year Dates

• Tuesday, August 23rd: Skokie Meet and Greet (2:30-3:30pm). Students will have the opportunity to meet their teachers prior to the first day of school. We ask that families limit their visit to ~15 minutes to allow for all families to meet their teacher. Please arrive at the front entrance and we will help you find your classroom.

• Wednesday, August 24th: First Day of School (½ Day: 8:25 -11:50am)

• Thursday, September 1st: Skokie Go to School Night from 6:00pm - 7:30pm (more info to follow)

First Day of School: August 24th (Half Day: 8:25-11:50 a.m.)

Doors open each day at 8:15. Students often arrive a few minutes early to be ready for an 8:15 entry and an 8:25 start to their day. Lunch will not be served on this date.

Students will attend each of their classes following an abridged class schedule. There will be bus service on this date. We recommend arriving at your stop a few minutes ahead of your scheduled time for the first few days.

KW Uniforms

This year, our 6th Graders will begin wearing KW uniforms again. We are partnering with an online vendor, so please use this link to order if you have not done so already. Orders that were previously placed have been shipped and will arrive at school to then be distributed to students at school during the beginning days of school.
