Yearbook Price Increase at Midnight Tonight (Jan. 26th)

The price of yearbooks will increase to over $100 at midnight tonight - Friday, January, 26th.
Yearbooks can only be purchased through http://www.jostens.com. Click the top left tab that says "Yearbooks" and the first option is to "Buy your yearbook." Prices will continue to rise throughout the school year so order soon.
Celebrate Black Heritage Night at EHS!
In honor of Black History Month, Eagan High School’s Black Student Union presents Heritage Night! There will be student led performances including dances and a fashion show, as well as an array of cultural foods to try. Come support this organization by attending a night filled with fun to celebrate Black culture!

Dakota Valley Choral Festival
The Dakota Valley Choral Festival is a concert combining all four district Concert Choirs, the all-district 5th grade choir, and professional instrumentalists under the direction of Dr. Frank Watkins, UW-Eau Claire. The performance is Sunday, Feb. 4th at 7pm in the EASTVIEW Gymnasium. This performance is open to the public. Tickets must be purchased electronically ahead of time. College Fair at SES
Annual Environmental College and Career Fair
The School of Environmental Studies in Apple Valley, Minnesota will be holding the annual Environmental College and Career Fair on Tuesday, Feb. 13 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM.
Twenty-seven colleges and environmental organization have confirmed participation.
This event is an arena style "fair" in which colleges provide information about their institutions and offer college/career guidance to students. There is no pre-registration and the event is open to the public.

Register for Ultimate Frisbee Now!
Is your student looking for a fun and exciting way to get some exercise and meet new people? Well, look no further than Ultimate Frisbee! Registration is now open for players of all experience levels, so no worries if they've never played before.
Starting in March, we'll be practicing twice a week to get our skills up and ready for weekly games against other high schools in the area. And the best part? We have both boys and girls teams, so everyone is welcome to join in on the fun! Whether they're a seasoned Frisbee player or just looking to try something new, we guarantee that Ultimate Frisbee will be a blast.

Snowshoeing & Bonfire Event
Fun outdoor event through the City of Eagan Parks and Recreation!
Eagan Parks & Recreation is hosting a super fun snowshoeing and bonfire event on Friday, February 9th - and the best part? There's no school that day! So if you're looking for something fun to do, this event is definitely worth checking out. This event is perfect for teens looking to get outside and have some fun in the snow.

Class of 2024: Need Help With College Tuition?
- The Eagan Community Foundation scholarship application process opened the evening of January 17th and will close the evening of February 23rd.
- 110 scholarships totaling over $130,000. Students can learn more about the process and apply here: https://www.eaganfoundation.org/apply-for-a-scholarship
- Awards are based on a variety of criteria including community involvement, those with military parents, those who have persevered through hardships in life, participation in sports and school activities, academic merit and financial need.
- Only scholarships that are based on financial need require a copy of the front page of your Student Aid Report (SAR) from the FAFSA.
Scholarships are sponsored by a variety of local businesses, school organizations, family foundations and nonprofits.
The Minnesota Comprehensive Assessments (MCAs) in Reading for grade 10 students and Math for grade 11 students will be administered on Wednesday, March 20 from 7:40 - 9:40 AM.
- All grade 9 students will attend classes as usual starting at 7:40 AM
- All grade 12 students will report for 3rd period classes at 9:45 AM. Assigned work for periods 1 and 2 will be posted in Schoology by teachers.
- Buses will run at the usual times.
The ACT for Grade 11 students, and PreACT for Grade 10 students will be administered on Tuesday, April 23 starting at 7:40 AM.
- Students in grades 9 and 12 will have an E Learning Day on Tuesday, April 23rd.
