Lunar New Year, also known as Chinese New Year, falls on February 10th, and kicks off what's sure to be an outstanding year for all, and especially for those born in 1928, 1940, 1952, 1964, 1976, 1988, 2000, and 2012: the year of the DRAGON!
Join us for dumplings, spring rolls, and fortune cookies, and learn how to draw a Chinese Dragon!

Southern Adirondack Audubon Society Series: the Common Loon
We are thrilled to announce a four-part series co-hosted by the Southern Adirondack Society, beginning with "Conservation through the Lives of Adirondack Loons." Dr. Nina Schoch, Executive Director of the Adirondack Center for Loon Conservation, will presetn an overview of loon natural history and behavior, discuss threats affecting loon populations, and highlight the work of the ACLC.
