Bobcat Bulletin
October 1, 2023
Letter from Mrs. Anderson
Greetings Bobcat Families!
October is here and we are closing out Quarter 1. Our students and staff are working hard to achieve school wide goals and focus on our “Big Rocks.”
Please consider taking the time to read the “curriculum corner” in this Bulletin. Our Content Area Instructional Coaches have prepared information to give you a glimpse on what your child is learning in each content area this month. This information could be great conversation starters at the dinner table or on your way to soccer practice!
On Friday, 9/29/23, we had our first school-wide student leadership club meetings. With over 39 school-wide clubs, our students and teachers are pursuing their passions. Teachers are facilitating students in leading their learning while also giving back to the community. Students are given the chance to show responsibility, be creative, set goals, and ACHIEVE!
Thank you for supporting your child’s education. If you have any concerns or questions, please reach out to your child’s teacher to schedule an in-person meeting or phone conference. I look forward to seeing you soon.
In partnership,
Mrs. Anderson

Parent Input for Strategic Plan
Collier County Public Schools (CCPS) is developing a new five-year strategic plan that will outline the district’s major goals for school years 2024-25 through 2028-29. “Preparing a Pathway” allows you to provide direct input to the process. In our ongoing commitment to authentic engagement with the community, over the next four months a series of questions will be posted, one at a time. Please take a minute to join in the conversation.
Answering each question should require no more than five minutes. Participants will also have the opportunity to review and rate responses of others using a 1–5-star scale (1 = strongly disagree, 5 = strongly agree). All responses and ratings are anonymous. This first question period is open at the link below and will close on October 4.
Through this process, we will create a new CCPS Strategic Plan together to focus our work over the next five years. Your input is greatly appreciated.
Student ID and Lanyard
All students will be issued and are required to wear a school ID and lanyard while at school. This is part of our school dress code. Students will use badges to sign on to their bus, check out library books, and go through the lunch line. Lost badges may be replaced in the front office for $2.00 cash.
