Students who missed a final exam in December can report to Computer Lab 7.103 (middle of C building) with their chromebook on Tuesday, January 2 or Wednesday, January 3 at 8:00 AM to make up their exam.

Educational Tips For Parents
Prescription Drug Abuse Among Teenagers
After marijuana and alcohol, the most commonly abused drugs by teenagers are prescription drugs and over-the-counter (OTC) medications. According to the National Institute on Drug Abuse, “the classes of prescription drugs most commonly abused are: opioid pain relievers, stimulants for treating Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), and central nervous system (CNS) depressants for relieving anxiety. The most commonly abused OTC drugs are cough and cold remedies containing dextromethorphan.
Attendance Awareness Campaign 2024!
Addressing chronic absence is a key component of improving graduation rates, increasing academic achievement and giving students the best chance at success in their adult life. Please join us on Thursday, January 4th at 6:30 PM for a Virtual Meeting to review Berkmar Attendance requirements for parents and students. A link will be sent via ParentSquare before the event.
*The meeting will take place in Spanish with English interpretation.

This communications platform is designed to keep parents and guardians informed and encourage greater engagement and connection with your child’s school and Gwinnett County Public Schools. The easiest way to access ParentSquare is through the Parent Portal. More information can be found here.
ParentVUE App
- ParentVUE allows parents to view schedules, grades, assignments, and more. Find the app on Google Play or Apple App Store and use the same email address and password as your Parent Portal account.
- Parents must first have an active Parent Portal account to activate the app.

Warming Stations
Warming Station season is here. Gwinnett County is committed to ensuring the safety and well-being of our residents, especially during the colder months. With the approaching winter season, we are pleased to inform you about our five Warming Stations, which will be operational between November 2023 through March 2024. When overnight temperatures reach 35 degrees or below, the stations will operate from 6:00pm to 7:00am.
