Please send your child with one healthy snack each day. Please refrain from sending anything that may contain nuts as we are a NUT FREE ZONE. Thank you!

In the event that your child needs a day-to-day ride change please contact the front office at (817)215-0650.

To ensure that your ride change gets submitted to us in a timely manner, please contact them before 2:00 pm.

The front office will take note and alert us via our Ride Change Folders promptly at 2:40.

For LONG TERM ride changes please e-mail your child's teacher. This means that it will be more than one-two days of a different ride change.

Thank you for your understanding and allowing us to use our time efficiently to make an impact on your children!

Important dates here at R.E.S:

This week in Reading we are assessing for DRA. Our end of the year reading goal is a DRA level 16 or higher.

This week in Math we talked about financial literacy and learned about spending money versus saving money.

This week in science we learned about Interdependence among animals and plants.

This week in Writing we are assessing for DRA. Our end of the year reading goal is a DRA level 16 or higher.

This week in Phonics we combined snap words to make compound words.

This week we learned about Goods and Services.

Your child should read 20 minutes every night. Why? Twenty minutes a day is all it takes to build key reading skills, vocabulary, and fluency. We really appreciated your support!

In RES and First Grade we are encouraging students to bring refillable bottled water. If your child is thirsty, they can avoid the public water fountain.

In 1st Grade, we love to celebrate birthdays during snack time. If your child would like to celebrate with their classmates, you may send small size individual sealed treat, like Rice Krispies, Cheez-It, Gold Fish, etc..., for the students to share and celebrate!

Please check with your child's teacher, ahead of time, for conflicts or allergies within the class.
