Delicious Treats from Tribes!
"Fry bread is food.
It is warm and delicious, piled high on a plate.
Fry bread is time.
It brings families together for meals and new memories.
Fry bread is nation.
It is shared by many, from coast to coast and beyond.
Fry bread is us.
It is a celebration of old and new, traditional and modern, similarity and difference."

Women, Wisdom & Weaving!
It’s a generational story of heritage, home and hope for a loved one serving one nation, while weaving the threads of an equitable nation into the fabric of life. The illustrations convey warmth, strength, empowerment and leadership in a stare, a woven pattern and the smoke-filled prayers escaping from a log cabin tucked in the woods. It’s equal parts vapor, valor and victory.
Have some sway w/that stew!
The movement in these illustrations sway like seasoning in a stew. The liberation of freedom, whether it’s in a wave or a sweep of a broom, moves you. It compels you to shout, sing and swim in the seasonings of sensational stew, which is exactly what the illustrations illuminate artistically. Whether it is the big detail of hips swaying to a kompa rhythm or the swish of braids flowing with the sassiness only a little dancer can give, these visuals capture the events of home and freedom with an island breeze & soul food.

Gryffindor Sword Cookie!
Channel your inner hero with these sharply satisfying cookie replicas of Godric Gryffindor's magical sword (pg. 66). Used by Harry to defeat the dreaded Basilisk and by Ron to destroy the Locket of Slytherin, this ancient blade is one of the most powerful objects in the wizarding world and always appears when you need it most (hopefully when hunger strikes). A magical fact, when designing the Sword of Gryffindor, the HP prop-making team took inspirations from real-life medieval swords, adding large rubies on the handle to symbolize Gryffindor House. Come check out from the DMS library before the Death Eaters get to it!
Edible Gingerbread People in 10 Ingredients or Less!
Ginger, the spice has Chinese, Greek and Egyptian heritage. The trading of the spice on the Silk Road during the Middle Ages is how the savory ingredient made it's way to Europe. Henry VIII is said to use ginger as a means to fight the plague. To this day, ginger is used to settle uneasy stomachs and nausea--remember Granny's push for Ginger Ale when anyone had a tummy ache? Nevertheless, after the publication of Grimm's fairytale, Hansel & Gretel, gingerbread houses were firmly cemented in world history. Non-verbal Communication Can Dictate A Lot!
As we gather together for the upcoming holiday season, pay attention to the body language of your family members or notice your own. Who makes you overjoyed that you're jumping for joy before you actually speak? Who makes your jaw clench? Observing and not absorbing family wins and woes will save you some heartache. Here's some body language tips to keep in mind.
