Online Fruit Blitz Sales
There is one last phase of the FHS Band Fruit Blitz! Our students have sold to neighbors, local friends and family and they have done a GREAT job!
If you have family or friends who live OUT OF TOWN and might be interested in buying fruit, please share the following link!

Purchases may be made directly from Indian River Groves until December 15th, and the fruit will be shipped directly to the purchaser (guaranteed delivery by Christmas). There will be a shipping charge, but this is a way those who are out of town can buy and enjoy fruit while supporting the FHS Band.

Hello, Current and Potential FHS Band Families and Students!
Believe it or not, it's already time to start planning for the 2025-26 FHS Band year! Below, you'll find important items to review and complete to ensure a smooth registration process.
Here’s what you need to do:
Review: Click on the link to the document with information about the 2025-26 band year and please read through it carefully.
Complete a Form: Please complete one of the three Google Forms below that best fits your current status:
- Currently Registered: For current 9th, 10th, and 11th graders already in the band. Current Senior students, please do NOT complete this form.
- Not Currently Registered: For current FHS students (not in the band) who might be interested in joining.
- 8th Grade Students: For 8th graders interested in joining the band next year.
Important: Please fill out the correct form before the semester ends and before we head into the holiday break. This information helps us plan for a successful band year, and your participation is essential!

Itinerary for Farragut Xmas Parade, Sunday, December 8th:
2:45 PM: Band Room Open for Students to get Instruments
3:15 PM: Call Time at the Farragut Community Center on Jamestowne Blvd.
4:00 PM : Parade Begins, We bring in Santa Claus!
5:00 PM-ish: Parade Ends
5:30 PM: Band Room will be Open until this time for Students to Drop-Off Instruments

PLEASE do not forget to continue sending in your fair share/fees for Class and Competitive Band respectively. First payment should have already been paid, second payment is August 15th and third is September 15th. Where it says to put in name, please provide your STUDENT'S name. This will make it easier to update your information in our system.
Also, we still have many students that have not turned in a physical form yet. PLEASE make sure everyone continues to send these in before the June camp.

Procedures concerning Checking Out Student/s after Away Games, Competitions, or Other Events
Parents... if you want to check-out your student after an away game or competition, you must do two things. First, PLEASE send Mr. Brown and I an email at least 1 day prior to the event saying you want to check-out your student after the event has concluded. This way, I can alert the uniform crew and student to have their uniform bag with them so that the uniform comes back to the school that evening. This is very important so the that uniforms stay in good shape.
Second, parents MUST personally speak to the student's bus chaperone before the student will be allowed to be checked out. A student informing a bus chaperone that they are being checked out will not be allowed to leave. Chaperones MUST see and speak with the student's parents. No one else is allowed to check out a student for any reason.
Please know that this is for the safety of your students and abides with KCS policies. We thank you for your understanding.

Band Stands Etiquette
1. Have FUN!!!
2. No profanity.
3. Talk to your friends but you must pay attention to the game and the drum majors.
4. Class Band ONLY (CBO) students MUST remain in the Band Stands when the Competitive Band leaves to prepare for the halftime show. CBO students can play the fight song if the team scores a touchdown or field goal. CBO percussion students have the option to help the front ensemble Competitive Students at halftime if they wish.
5. ALL Students may NOT go to the concession stand until after the halftime performance is completed.
6. ALL students must be back in the stands with 2 minutes left in the 3rd quarter after the halftime performance.
7. NO student is allowed to leave early for any reason unless they have cleared it with a band director.
