We are pleased to announce the 2022-2023 Gayman Awards Ceremony on Thursday, June 8th!

During this celebration, one student shall be recognized for each of the "Gayman 5" character traits. This student will win the 2022-2023 Gayman Elementary Award for either Respect, Responsibility, Kindness, Cooperation, or Perseverance. Students can be nominated by students, parents, or staff members. Nominations are due by May 30th.

Every day one Gayman staff member selects one student to be our "Mustang of the Day"! Students are selected for demonstrating one of the "Gayman 5" character traits: respect, responsibility, kindness, perseverance, and cooperation.

Gayman will hold a Move Up Day on Wednesday, June 14th from 9:00-10:00AM.

Students will not be assigned a specific teacher by that date. Instead students will meet all grade level teachers and learn about the highlights of what the 2023-2024 school year will hold for them. Our goal in this activity is to build excitement about the coming year and reduce anxiety for the next school year, as we head into the summer.

We look forward to the upcoming school year!

This is our LAST week of IRUN4LIFE.

Huge thank you to Lauren Lennon for taking on this NEW program! Thank you to all parents who volunteered to coach and to all the students for trying something new. Gayman IRUN4LIFE team raised $1054.00! Together with a few other local elementary schools we accomplished the goal of raising $5,000 for Pennypacker Elementary School in Philadelphia to use towards their new portable gaga pit. And all of the kids logged some miles.

Join us after school on Wednesday, May 31st from 3:30 to 4:45pm when we'll learn about helping wild animals during a visit from Aark Rehabilitation and Education Center, and celebrate a successful year of volunteering with water ice! The GHSA is excited to host the End of the Year Family Picnic! This event will be free for families! PWe extended the RSVP deadline a week so Please RSVP HERE! by Friday, May 19th!

We had over 300 people RSVP to attend on Friday, June 2nd from 6:00pm - 8:00pm on the Gayman Playground. Please remember to bring a blanket or beach chair!

GHSA will provide Hotdogs and Cotton Candy! Please click HERE to donate towards the picnic. And there will be music by DJ Pete! We can't wait to see you and celebrate a great year!

Gayman Home & School Association would like to extend a THANK YOU to everyone who volunteered this year. If you were a homeroom parent, a chair of a committee, a member of a committee, volunteered to donate an item, volunteered to help at an event, or helped in any other way we want to THANK YOU! GHSA events are only possible with parent volunteer support.
