Pledges for giving in 2020
2019 is making a rapid close and your leadership team and pastor are busy preparing for our 2020 ministry year. Thank you so much for our first Sunday of collecting pledge cards back. We have received donations totaling about 43% of what we will need to accomplish our 2020 budget. We still need more but I am very pleased with our first round of cards. There is still time to bring yours back and help us hit the lofty goals that our leadership team has for our upcoming year. God has big plans for Button and we want everyone to be a part of them. Grab a card, fill it out and turn it in on Sunday in the offering plates. Remember, you don’t have to sign them. This commitment is between you and God. Your gift is so vitally important to the work we have begun and will continue to do here at Button UMC. Let's dream with our eyes wide open and be a part of what God is doing here! Blessings! -Pastor Melissa
New Adult Sunday School Class
Sunday School Substitute Teachers
We Need substitute teachers on occasion in all of our classes. If you would be willing to teach Adult, Youth or Children's Sunday School at 9:30 am on an occasional basis, please let Pastor Melissa know. We would like to have a list for each class to consult when their normal teachers have to be out. We can help you prepare! Such important and blessed work.
Why teach Sunday school ?
Why do I teach Sunday School? I absolutely love being around kids. They smile easily. Like all of us, they light up when someone actually listens to them. When someone shows an interest in their story, their opinions. Also, I have learned so much about my own faith by preparing a lesson for them. You really want to learn something? Teach someone that thing and watch your own knowledge grow!
