Toys at school
Parents, we thank you in advance for your partnership in keeping toys home. Due to the rising number of distractions, incidents and injuries, we need toys and balls to remain home. These items also become another conversational piece in the class, which can minimize instructional time.
Thank you for working with us as we strive for excellence in ALL we do!
Now is a great time to join PTA and/or volunteer to assist during various school activities. It's a great way to meet other parents, network, and learn more about Reed. Click the PTA link below for more information. Many activities are made possible due to parents giving even 30 minutes of their time. ALL parents should try at least once to participate with PTA. Who knows? You may like it!
If you have any questions or concerns, or if there's anything you'd like to discuss, please do not hesitate to reach out. Communication is key!
Guidelines for visitors to eat lunch w/ students
In order for an individual to eat lunch with a student, they would need to be listed in Skyward as an emergency contact. All individuals eating lunch on campus would need to check in with their ID through the front office staff before entering the cafeteria.
Campus closed to visit lunch on Mondays to recognize classes.
Lunch can be dropped off.
Water Bottle Reminder
Parents, we are having a lot of students bring juice or other drinks to school in their regular water bottle. Water is the only permitted liquid that is allowed in the classroom. All water bottles should have a proper closure (i.e. no straws or open cups). This is a campus-wide expectation. Students who consistently bring cups that are not spill-proof will be asked to leave their cup in the office for their grown up to collect from an administrator.
School doors open at 7:30. Please don't drop-off students.
There's no supervision before 7:30.
Greetings from the library!
I hope you are enjoying this beautiful weather!
If you have any extra yarn that you do not want, I would love to have it for the library. We have been making pompoms and the kids have loved it! I would like to offer it for Makerspace when they have finished checking out books.
Thank you and happy reading,
Amy Williams
