PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE
Hello Darby Families!
We are thankful for a wonderful first week of November at Darby Middle School! We wrapped up a very successful football season with our 8th grade team finishing undefeated champions (9-0) and our 7th grade team finishing as City Champions! We were quick to get basketball season started and our first game is this week against Ramsey. If you get a chance please come out and support our basketball and spirit teams. Game schedules can be found on our school calendar.
Our Student Council is hosting a Thanksgiving Food Drive this week. We would appreciate any items you could donate for our efforts to provide food for families in need.
Progress reports will be sent home on Monday, November 15th. They will be distributed by your student's third period advisory teacher. Just a reminder that you can contact teachers directly through email if you have any questions about grades.

Share personal safety tips for teens on the go
As your teen earns more independence, make sure he knows the steps to take to stay safe. In addition to following COVID protocols, remind him that he should travel with a friend or in a group. He should always let someone responsible know where he's going and when he'll be back. He should never hitchhike or pick up a hitchhiker. And when he's home alone, your teen should keep doors and windows locked, and never open the door to strangers.
