MES Soaring to Success
Principal weekly update
Good afternoon parents!
Good afternoon!
I just wanted to remind everyone that this Thursday is the parent's night out, "Raise A Glass to MES" with the PTO at Woodbury Brewing. If it is anything like last year, it will be a blast!! You can find information about how to get tickets in the PTO section below.
Even though we have had some snow on the ground, it has been way too cold to do our special snow recess day. We will keep trying and as soon as we can I will let you know when it is scheduled.
Please see the attached flyer regarding an upcoming snow clothing drive.
A few parents expressed interest in helping to monitor students at recess and at lunch. I will be working on a plan as to how that will look. In the meantime if you think this is something you would like to do please make sure your background check is updated. A new one has to be completed every new school year.
Our next parent coffee hour will be for January/February to be held on February 2. We will be discussing Ben's Bells and our Year of Kindness!
**Special note to our 5th grade parents please see the attached flyer for our first 5th grade activity scheduled in March. It will be a bowling night with BES 5th graders at Thomaston Lanes on Monday March 18th. Bowling Flyer
Have a great week!
