What a great week of learning and connecting this week. So great! We have pictures this Monday at the K-8 campus along with School Site Council on Friday. In between, we have class and lots of great stuff.
This week's background features a little friendly competition in their table top tennis (aka ping pong) tournament. Addiitonally, our TK-5 students got to visit the library this week as well.

Principal's Message...
Thank you to the families that joined us at the Principal/Counselor's Coffee. It was great to see you all. If your weren't able to make it, no problem, we've got another chance for you in October. Either way, please take a moment to complete this survey to help direct your needs moving forward. We are going to use the feedback to identify next month's’ topic.
As a reminder, if your student is not feeling well, please have them stay home for the week.
Picture Day this Monday, September 12th 8-12 noon @ the K-8 campus. We are excited to welcome our students to show off their fall outfits and get a school ID as well as some great pictures.

Elementary Information
Caregiver Workshop: Our Mental Health Professionals Mrs. Bullock and Ms. Skomsvold have been working with OCDE on some Parenting Workshops to address challenges facing students. There are 5 workshops starting on 10/12 at 10 am and occurring every Wednesday. Check them out. They should be AWESOME and include relevant topics like Bullying, Screentime and Mental Health, positve support and stress management. Here's a link to the flyers: English and Spanish.
Weekly Schedule: Thursday marks the first day to attend the library for Mrs. McCourtney's class. Each Monday, Mrs. Maeda's class will be going to the library at 9:45 and Mrs. McCourtney's class will be attending on Thursdays at 8:10 am. We are so lucky to be able to utilize the library and work with Mrs. Vulkov our librarian. If you are looking for the detailed Weekly schedules check out our website or via these links. TK-2 3-5

REMINDER: Students should check their emails daily as well as keep their video on during the class session. It makes for a richer classroom experience for the students and teachers.
Save the Date for Picture Day: Picture day will be September 12th from 8 -12 noon on the K-8 campus. Student will receive their IDs that same day.

High School Information
Drive for Student Engagement: For the tenth consecutive year, the Tustin Unified School District is partnering with Tustin Toyota
to increase overall student engagement and attendance by highlighting senior role models. All seniors who maintain daily engagement, outstanding attendance when healthy, and positive
behavior at each of TUSD’s high schools will be eligible for entrance in a lottery for a new Toyota Corolla generously donated by Tustin Toyota. Learn more about eligibilty and rules here.

Free Lunch Each Day: Students can get a lunch free from the cooler in Room 28 anytime M-Th. It's a great way to receive a healthy lunch each day while at school.

TUSD Resource Sora Summer Read
Sora Sweet Reads in an annual summer reading program designed for schools to encourage students to keep reading all year long. "Check out" the free collection of simultaneous use juvenile and young adult ebooks (and select audiobooks).
Login to Sora to access these and many any other great ebooks and audiobooks all summer long through Clever, TUSD Student Portal or soraapp.com using your TUSD Google login and password.
