Principal's Message

We had a strong start to the 23-24 SY in September and are poised to continue that as we R.O.A.R. into October!

Positives

  • Overall attendance is averaging 95%

  • Our school theme can be heard, seen, and felt throughout the building.

  • Improvements to facilities are continuing

  • New initiatives such as our 7 Habits of Highly Effective Teens for 7th graders is in full swing

  • Started the year strong with minimal tardies


While we are on good footing, we are always looking to continue improving. As the weeks go on, we are seeing our number of tardies continue to slowly rise. We understand that traffic in our area can be difficult, but we ask that you encourage your children to wake up just 5-10 minutes earlier to ensure they arrive on time. In the few instances where severe inclement weather impacted traffic, we took that into consideration.

9/11 Tribute

Palisades Park students took part in the Palisades Park 9/11 tribute. Juhee Kim played a beautiful rendition of our National Anthem. Travis Park, together with his fellow volunteer Junior Firefighters JiLynn Rivera and Shane Morin, honored our fallen heroes with a heartfelt speech. Back to School Night

Thank you to everyone who came out to back to school night! We had over about 125 families in attendance. For those who attended, please take a few minutes to complete this survey.

Spanish "Field Trip"

Ms. Santiago takes her Spanish class for a quick field trip to our Frida Kahlo display in the lobby. Students analyze the sources to learn about social activism which will culminate in a discussion that ties into their politics unit.

Our club fair was a hit! Students connected with eachother and learned about various opportunities to join classmates who have similar interests.
