Intent to Return survey were emailed to all families of currently enrolled students last Thursday, February 9. Please complete and submit the survey by this Friday, February 17 to confirm whether your family will be returning to PPCS next school year. This lets us know how many seats we have available in the enrollment lottery.

The Palouse Prairie Charter School Development Committee is seeking new members for fundraising and friendraising. Our school has had wonderful success funding our playground and are halfway to our school year fundraising goal of $30,000. We are seeking funding for our Adventure and Music programs, our Multi-purpose room expansion, and the needs identified by our teachers, Parent Crew, and beyond. If you have skills or interest in helping strategize and set fundraising goals; write and review grant proposals; work with donors and the community; create outreach; or coordinate events, we would love your help. Current committee members are Laura Heinse, Christen Findley, Heather Flynn, Laura Heinse, and Renée Hill and we plan to meet monthly depending on the availability of the group. Please plan alternate arrangements if you are unable to pick up your child by 3 PM Monday - Thursday, and 2:15 PM Friday.

If your child will be late to school and will need a lunch, please contact the office before 9 AM to let us know, so we can be sure they get lunch. Our order has to be called in to Moscow School District at 9 AM and we don't want to miss anyone.

Our family handbook states, School celebrations focus on celebrations of learning rather than holidays and birthdays. Celebrations of learning may be at the end of expeditions, reading/writing units, or other such periods. We choose not to use instruction time for activities such as passing out Valentines. We appreciate families taking care of such activities outside of school hours. Thank you for your understanding!

PPCS Parent Crew Family Game Night

6-8 PM for Parent Crew Family Game Night at PPCS.

The purpose of Game Night is primarily as a school community building event to bring people together.

We will also be accepting donations that will be specifically for Parent Crew activities, such as teacher appreciation events and gifts, supporting our PPCS families, etc. but no donations are required or expected.
