QuestBridge | Match Scholarship

Out of over 16, 500 applicants, QuestBridge selected 6,312 Finalist to be considered for the QuestBridge National College Match Scholarship (Match Scholarship.) This year, QuestBridge's 45 college partners matched with 1,674 Finalist, who are recognized as Match Scholarship Recipients.

Ezra Santos received a 4 year full scholarship to the University of Chicago!

Ezra moved to the U.S. from the Philippines two and a half years ago.

"I don't have any time to play video games anymore, so in my free time, I play with my guitar and I either sing or compose songs. I try to remain physically active, so I play basketball every week and I try to run whenever I get the chance to. When I want to be productive, I pull out my self-bought or borrowed physics/chemistry textbooks and try to self-study to prepare for my AP exams. I always try to have a work-life balance, so I try to have fun all the time."

Match Scholarship Recipients are granted early admission to one of QuestBridge's college partners with a full four-year scholarship, worth over $200,000. College partners use a combination of their own funds as well as state and federal aid to fund the scholarship.

The Match Scholarship is offered as part of a generous financial aid package provided by the college that covers the cost of attendance, including:

• Tuition and fees
• Room and board
• Books and supplies
• Travel expenses

All Match Scholarship packages:

• Have NO parental contribution
• Have NO student loans
• May contain a student contribution in the form of Federal work-study, summer work, or student savings

To date, over 30,000 Finalists have been admitted to a college partner through QuestBridge, including over 8,500 who were admitted with full four-year scholarships. Finalists who attend our college partners are supported in their college years and beyond through on-campus chapters and nationwide opportunities offered through the QuestBridge Scholars Network and QuestBridge Alumni Association.
