Principal's Message
Believe it or not, we are wrapping up October and next week will be our final week of the first trimester. It seems as if the time has flown by so quickly. Our teaching staff is working to give each student their end of trimester assessments and preparing report card information for you to view soon. Our 4th and 5th grade Leadership students shared their first Murwood Monthly News video for our school and they did an outstanding job!
On Monday, WCSD staff will participate in professional development. During this time we will continue our work in equity with Epoch Education. We are looking forward to this learning as it will support our work in building a school community focused on student growth and development and community belonging.
I hope to see you all this weekend at our PTA Fall Festival. This is always a great family activity. We will have fun games for the kiddos, great snacks AND the Book Fair will be open!
If you can't make it Saturday, I hope you will join us Friday morning for our Halloween parade on the blacktop. Students will begin the parade line at 8:30.
Happy Halloween!
