September has been a busy month at Stonybrook. From a wonderful Back To School Night to celebrating Dot Day and to the beginning of our Band and Choir Classes , we are off to an amazing start to the 2023-2024 school year! Below are just a few pictures of the exciting things that have been occurring at Stonybrook School.
The New Jersey Anti-Bullying H.I.B. legislation has designated the week of October 2nd-6th as the “Week of Respect” across the state of New Jersey. In accordance with the law, Stonybrook School will participate in a variety of grade-level, classroom, and school-wide activities. Please see the flyer below.
Destination Imagination Parent Information Meeting
Please join us for a Destination Imagination Information Session on Tuesday, October 3, 2023 at 7:00 p.m. at Kiel School. Learn about 21st Century STEAM based programs where students work together to find solutions to DI challenges
Please join us for a GOAL Information Session on Wednesday, October 4th at 6:30 p.m. at Kiel School. All parents with a child in Grades 1 - 5 can attend and learn all about our GOAL program. Mrs. Reinmund, our GOAL teacher will be sharing information on the program and answering any questions you may have.
October 9th is a Minimum Day for all students. Students will be dismissed at 1:25 p.m. that day. Reminder that there is no lunch served on that day, so I ask that you please send your child with a hearty snack and a water bottle. Time for snack will be provided in each classroom.
Stonybrook Halloween Parade
Weather permitting, our annual Stonybrook Halloween Parade will be held on Tuesday, October 31st at 10:30 a.m. Please see the letter below for more information. Thank you.
To ensure that students do not lose any items, we ask that you please place your child's name on their water bottle, lunch bag, and inside their sweatshirts or jackets especially now as the weather becomes colder. Thank you.
