Importance of School Attendance

Timely school attendance matters everyday, and our parents can make a difference in sharing how important it is to go to school with their children. See you in class soon! https://bit.ly/3w3YZwc

The US Department of Education states as many as one in six students are considered chronically absent. But CUSD is committed to helping students and families with school attendance.

The positive impact of being in school everyday is evident. It is a definite predictor of student outcomes. Let's give all our kids a chance by being on time everyday and continue to introduce them to hands-on, memorable learning experiences.

#WeAreChandlerUnified

#AttendanceMatters

If your student is absent, please be sure you call the attendance line which is available 24 hours a day, to report the absence.

Arizona's Academic Standards Assessment (AASA) & Arizona Science (AZ SCI) Assessments

Our students and teachers have been working hard all year long and we are very proud of them. Please mark your calendars, our students in grades 3rd thru 6th will be taking the state assessments during the month of April. Our students in Grade 5 will be taking the state science assessment at the end of March. It is very important that your child be here and on time to school each day. If possible, please plan appointments and vacations for another time. Please keep in mind that once a student starts a test, they must finish the test within that testing period. Students cannot leave in the middle of a testing period and finish the test at another time. Thank you for your support and understanding.
