Valedictorian and Salutatorian
Cascade High School is pleased to announce that Megan Fox is the Valedictorian and Courtney Shostrand is the Salutatorian of the 2024 Cascade High School Graduating Class. Megan and Courtney have set themselves apart through their dedication to scholarship throughout their academic careers. These outstanding graduating seniors have challenged themselves throughout high school by taking our most rigorous course offerings. Our Cascade High School Family is very proud of our Valedictorian, Megan Fox, and our Salutatorian, Courtney Shostrand. Congratulations to you both!

Congratulations to Cascade High School Instructional Assistant, Annette Reach, for being recognized as the Mill Creek Community School Corporation Staff Member of the Month for December. Congratulations also to Cascade High School Head Custodian, Cindy Akers, for being recognized as the Mill Creek Community School Corporation Staff Member of the Month for January. Mrs. Reach and Mrs. Akers both display great pride in their school and a have a true heart for helping our students and staff. We are proud of both of you! Thank you to our community business partners for your support of this staff recognition.
Presidents Day
Cascade High School will be closed on Monday, February 19th in recognition of Presidents Day.
Winter Athletics
Cascade High School was proud to host the IHSAA 3A Girls' Basketball Sectional #25 last week. Visiting teams, fans, officials and guests were able to experience our excellent facility and our hospitality. Thank you to our Athletic Director, Scott Stevens, and all the staff who worked throughout the Sectional to make it a successful event for all involved.
The Girls' Basketball team ended their season with a record of 13-11 after playing a very challenging schedule. The Girls' Swimming and Diving team competed in the IHSAA Sectional meet in Terre Haute last week against a high quality field. The swimmers set many personal bests throughout the season. Congratulations to diver Courtney Shostrand on advancing to the IHSAA Diving Regional on February 6th. Good luck, Courtney! The Boys' Swimming and Diving team will compete in the IHSAA Sectional meet at Plainfield on February 15th and 17th. Good luck gentlemen! The Wrestling team advanced 7 individuals out of the IHSAA Sectional at Mooresville to compete at the IHSAA Regional at Mooresville. Congratulations to Lucas Farmer and Braxton Lewis on advancing to the IHSAA Semi--State on February 10th in Evansville. The Boys' Basketball team will be competing in the IHSAA Sectional at Sheridan the week of February 26th and are awaiting their draw for the tournament. Good luck to Boys' Basketball.
Congratulations and thank you to Paul Williams who will be retiring from coaching after leading the Cascade High School Swimming and Diving Teams for the past 15 years. Paul has had a profoundly positive impact on so many student-athletes and created a truly family team atmosphere for our program. Thank you Coach Williams for your dedication to our Cascade High School Swimming and Diving Program!
