Back to School Resource Fair is Saturday, August 19, 2023!
On August 19, 2023, Columbus City Schools will host the second annual Back-to-School Resource Fair at the Fort Hayes Metropolitan Education Center campus, 546 Jack Gibbs Blvd., from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
More than 120 vendors and 19 District departments will welcome thousands of families to receive a variety of educational materials, school supplies, health services, as well as information about community support programs, and more. The Nationwide Children’s Hospital’s School-Based Health Center will offer sports physicals, wellness checkups, vaccines, and more. READ MORE
District and PrimaryOne Health Partner to Open School-Based Health Center
Columbus City Schools and PrimaryOne Health are celebrating the opening of a new School-Based Health Center at Columbus International High School and home to the District’s specialized program, Columbus Global Academy, 4077 Karl Rd, Columbus, OH 43224.
“We are thrilled with our new partnership with PrimaryOne Health for our first health facility that will serve people from ages 0 to 99,” said Columbus City Schools Superintendent/CEO Dr. Angela Chapman. “We look forward to serving students and citizens in our community.”
The health center at Columbus International High School is designed to expand PrimaryOne Health’s services and programs to the community at large, with the model focused on improving student access to health care and closing gaps experienced by racial, ethnic, and cultural communities.

Engagement Team Presents FACES
Online Family and Community Engagement Series
CCS proudly presents FACES, the online Family and Community Engagement Series created to inform and connect families, community, and schools. The series premiered on the District's Facebook and YouTube channels on August 8, 2023, at 6:00 p.m.
It's a virtual Tuesday takeover, with the program airing on the second and fourth Tuesday of the month. The Columbus City School Board of Education meetings air on the first and third Tuesdays. READ MORE
