Classroom Spotlights!
Using Think, Pair, Share during Science Time
Thank you to Ramiro Ramos from Lincoln for sharing his classroom science time. His 3rd-grade students were creating two habitats for their Roly Polies and engaged in illustrating, writing, and sharing their work using the Think, Pair, Share strategy.
Visual Cueing
Shout out to the high school science team and the theater department for using visual cueing in classrooms to bring critical content to life!
Anchor Charts
Shout out to 5th-grade teacher Josie Nguyen from Lincoln for using anchor charts to visually capture important information from math lessons that students can continue to refer back to.
Beautiful Brainstorming
Theater students brainstorm ideas for upcoming projects.

All About Adoptions
In other news, the Math Materials Adoption team continues to meet through the fall. We are hoping to have recommendations to the School Board for purchase of materials this winter. The following are being piloted in the final phase of the process: McGraw Hill, Reveal Math at elementary; Savvas, enVision at MS and HS. There will also be opportunities for families to view these materials at upcoming conferences, as well as information on our updated HS Math Pathways.
